When a maco exceeds the character limit you will have to re-write the macro every time. Since NGE and the cut out of most of the macros power this hassnt been a problem for many poeple exept for a trader.

Open your Options menu

Select Keymap (bottom on left)

Select Chat tab  

Find and select “Chat Edit Copy”

Rebind {select Rebind, press button(s) you would like command mapped to}

Apply  

Find and select “Chat Edit Paste” 

Rebind {select Rebind, press button(s) you would like command mapped to}

Apply 

If given a message that this may interfere with another command,
either continue and then Rebind the overwritten command,
or choose a new binding for current choices.  

You can now copy from any ‘active’ text in game and paste into emails, chat, /note, macros.
This is attached to your Windows Clipboard, so you can also copy text out side of the game, then paste it while playing,
or copy it into your ‘notes’ {which is found in your login profile folder contained in the SWG directory} and access ingame via /no.
