I was just offered a chance to make some money this summer, and I jumped at it. I will have to cut my hair (finally 2 1/2 feet long in the front, past my nipples… 
and remove my tongue ring, but it’ll be worth it. However, I must attend a college this fall in order to take the job. And of course, as you may know, it is too late to apply to 90% of 4 year colleges in America for the fall.

Reading my sociology textbook tonight, the chapter I was required to for the discussion questions coming up… everything I’ve argued lately were brought to light… it’s funny…
The chapter was on education and Medicare… and how in order to change and reform them it will require our culture to change. We cannot adapt to a more rigorous set of classes, for students not willing to study/too busy to, and for teachers not being paid enough/being under-qualified/those who are qualified don’t want to teach (not enough money.
As I’ve stressed a million times, we need to adapt to a more eastern way of education. Look at places like Japan, where 10 year olds know more (not to mention are expected more of) than Americans in their mid-30s!
As long as Americans think their all big and bad and can throw their weight around, with that egotistic attitude, we’re not going anywhere. By looking to other countries for so long (getting involved militarily for example, and then going through and “westernizing” them so “they are better off than before we went on the offensive”), we have crippled ourselves. Third world countries have better Medicare and sometimes a better education system than we do.
But the thing that takes it all… is we only have two political parties…

Hey so like I reached a standstill on making this thing for insuficient funds (literally I owed the bank a ton of money, and my tax return barely covered it… I was planning on using the tax return {am I a traitor to say thank you US govt?}), so I won’t be getting those hard drive now… so here’s the rig as is, and has been for the past 7 weeks;

Lost about 4 pints of blood assembling case, it has those stupid sealed-shut expansion slots with no clip-on or screw-in lockdown slots… so, your cards just dangle in there… I just knocked them all out and put some mesh over the holes.
Okay I’ve been freaking out a lot lately. I’m going to make it my policy from now on to not jump to conclusions so fast…
Heh. I’ve been on edge lately, what with my car not running, finally getting it to run, then breaking the windshield and hood, then getting a flat tire, then the engine cutting out again, my dog dying, getting college doors slammed in my face (too late to apply or too low GPA), being over-withdrawn so badly, etc etc etc… it hasn’t been the best week.
Once again, I’ve had to put my creative works on hold. Once again I’m behind in college work.
But, life goes on. Everyone has problems. I am going to try not to freak out so much. It’s all little stuff in the grand scheme of things anyway. I’ve gotten become stronger, and more careful and thorough.
Okay I’m done holding your attention hostage. End rant.
Okay, my paypal identity, bank account number… everything… has been hijacked. What can I do in this situation? My paypal hisotry is blocked, I keep getting notices in the mail that I’m over withdrawn, and I haven’t wrote a check or made a payment in 2 months… What can I do? Paypal has NO PLACE ON THEIR SITE WHATSOEVER TO STOP ALL PAYMENTS OR DISABLE BANK ACOUNTS OR ANYTHING AND NO TECH SUPPORT, NOTHING… PAYPAL IS A CON… I just got my identity stolen. What can I do? I can’t find anything on the web… and according to my debit card history I’ve made some outrageous payments the past few months… Damn.
Of course, the bank is closed today… Damn. Tomorrow I’ve got to go and cancel EVERYTHING, I already owe the bank $100…

My resolution is to stop cussing!
Today I experienced one of the most shocking - and disheartening things. Today my dog, an outdoors black lab/mixbreed, began experiencing signs of “lethargic” (aka “dumb”) rabies. Another thought that occurred to me is that we recently (as in 2 days ago) bought Old Roy dog food, and I thought he might’ve been poisoned because of the recall (http://www.kake.com/home/headlines/6904897.html).
However, my worry increased as it got cold outside and we brought him in. A few minutes later, the floor was covered in blood, and upon examination he seems to be bleeding from his hind quarters, under his leg. We recently had some rats in the shed, and I’m thinking that they might’ve bitten him.
Reading up on rabies (http://www.healthscout.com/ency/322/738/main.html), I was scared he might have the dumb version, which says the animal may die within 3 days. I’m hoping that the vet will be able to help him… He is drooling pretty bad, but instead of being hostile, he is the opposite… he never moves, and when he does, he has his tail between his legs and looks extremely depressed.
Browsing the net, there seems to be no post-exposure cure for animals, and I’m beginning to panic. One site said the only cure was to shoot the animal in question.
