My Computer

Hey so like I reached a standstill on making this thing for insuficient funds (literally I owed the bank a ton of money, and my tax return barely covered it… :( I was planning on using the tax return {am I a traitor to say thank you US govt?}), so I won’t be getting those hard drive now… so here’s the rig as is, and has been for the past 7 weeks;

Nvidia Nforce520-le Socket A MB

AMD Athlon 4.8 GHZ CPU x64 Dual core 2.4s I assume, Brisbane core

Nvidia Budget-Model 7300 gt 512 MB graphics card

Apevia X-plorer case

2 gigs system RAM (1 gig G. Skill, 1 gig Kingston)

OS: Windows XP SP2 Pro w/Vista Inspirat

Drives:

1 WD 10 GB hard drive

1 WD 320 GB hard drive

1 DVD-RW SH-S203 drive

2x floppy drives, usually disconnected, looking for a copy of MS-DOS for floppy.

Pics:

Lost about 4 pints of blood assembling case, it has those stupid sealed-shut expansion slots with no clip-on or screw-in lockdown slots… so, your cards just dangle in there… I just knocked them all out and put some mesh over the holes.

    and no one has problems with posting images but you and i dont have a support group for user error. sorry lol

    a [img] tag isnt html and isnt used for this kind of blog. use the correct < img src > tag to post an image. jeez dude

    and wow… dude no one uses floppy drives no more lol. and you have 2. why do you need ms-dos for?

    its amazing with what all i do with computer i have never seen a reason to need dos on a floppy… or a floppy drive

    ’cause I don’t have room to xfer files to… and I have 3 versions of vistas stuck on my 320 gigger… embeded, cannot remove (or move) while running NT kernel, duh you knew that. Have to be in MS-DOS.

    when you make a pot there is a “visial” and a html” tab at the top of the text box, to insert text mabey dont you think you need to be on the html page

    the first image tag isnt closed properly, you dont have the ” at the end.

    and the second image tag… i dont know what that is but its not image tag

    Uh… damn no I need a new OS… maybe it’s b/c I’m using FF? God I got a retarded OS or something… it’s off snorting coke on it’s page file (8 gigs) and I’m stuck at turtle speed with limited functionality.

    This last OS install went awful… I’m assuming driver.cab and ciadmin.dll are core components? They are missing from my XP cd.

    lol your kidding right… you think more people search for “my pooder” why do you argue with me then ask my advice? and no matter if there your topics are not no matter what site you post on there are rules to follow and proper naming is mine. i would like my site to be searchable. here is what i think.

    1: If you want a 750gb drive pay a few more bucks and get a WD which is here, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136150. I never had any luck with Samsung drives and would much rather pay a little more and get a name thats trustable.

    2: Having 2 pci fans will be pointless. A computer case is made for air to flow through it and having 2 fans that close wont move any air any where but in a small lil circle from fan to fan between them. I would get one pci fan and a 5.25 bay fan.

    3. Cheaper psu’s arent really what they say so if your getting a cheap 480w its really not going to push 480w. but even a cheap one should push what you have no problem. Just becouse you need extra plugs dont mean it cant handle it.

    I already bought the other hard drive… oh well

    I’m putting a pci fan on either side of my gfx card, the card nearly touches the glass window on the side it’s so big, and seperates airflow from above and bellow it.

    i still say thats to much airflow at the back of the case, your taking the aire form everything else.
