It’s fine… when they play nice… with “normal” people… but when they are in one of their… attention whore moments… don’t give them constructive criticism… or you’ll be triple flagged for ban and your rating will drop to the negatives from over 300,000 voting you 0.
Well the whole vf rating systems dont work, why have 1-10 when everyone only rates a 1 or a 10. The site is based on who kisses jets ass the most. If you pay for premium and kiss his ass a little you can do or say anything. Let a regular person go rate a premium a 1 and you get deleted but a premium can rate ever how many 1’s they wish. It also seems that the only time a girl can pose almost naked is when there undersage. Everyone that post pictures of themselfs in skippy clothes seems to get deleted unless your premuim, kissing ass, or underage. And its always the same story with the kiss assers on there, every single one thinks there a model and gods gift to earth. Vampirefreaks is filled with more shit than Atlanta sewer systems. And if jets ego is in any way like those of the people trying to kiss his ass then i think every parent that has a girl thats a member thats underage and has half naked pictures on there should shove something up his ass. And i know what he would say already “i dont make them post pictures like that online”. A drug dealer dont make you take the drugs either but he does supply a way to do it. Last time i looked into it someone posting images of underage girls in such a way is against the law.
Gotta admit, I hate it, and I totally agree with you, but it is nice to know that such a place is let exist. Sure it’s annoying as hell if you hate ass-kissing, but it’s one of the “darkest” social networks. Sure it’s filled with posers and losers, only a few “real” people, but it goes back to my issue with net censorship. I’m GLAD it’s there, because it lets people (no matter how stupid) try to make sense of the world by putting what they believe out there. That is why I love the net. Anyone can do or say anything, fulfill whatever fantasy they desire, without fear of repercussion. I agree with the “parent’s-monitor-what-the-kids-do”; but only a little. If I had kids, I wouldn’t care. But that’s just me. If you DO care, and you’re a parent, it’s your own fault for thinking you can control another human being’s willpower. You can’t. Hell I have trouble controlling my own, let alone someone else’s. If you think you can force your views on someone else, you’re a hypocrite. Oh noes! That means that the American way is 100% hypocrisy!
the censorship and free speach and all that isnt what makes me mad, its the fact that the way its all handled is as curupt as our goverment. And vampirefreaks isnt dark, its about as dark as hot topic, its black paint smeared across a curropt systems that will do anything and say anything to make money.

There are a few good bands on VF, and of course myspace, but it’s all like a popularity contest, and more and more it’s a hangout for bands that advertise there… which can be annoying, no matter how good the band is. Why I personally don’t really log myspace or VF anymore (well I’ve logged VF a grand total of 14 times, all logs considered…)

Josh I hate to tell you but VF isn’t dark and 99% of people on there aren’t “real”. VF isn’t about Gothic people coming to talk and listen to bands they like. It’s about who can get rated the most or the highest.
I’m mean if VF was “Gothic” they wouldn’t have a rating system on there because real “Gothic” people don’t care what people think about them.
Besides if it was a Gothic site people would be spending there time on there chatting about music and stuff instead of downrating and trying to make people feel like shit.

The stereotypical Goth on a forum doesn’t like any bands. They know EVERY BAND IN THE HISTORY of mankind, but they all suck. The only music that is good is kvlt music lmfao

I’m adding this to my Gaia sig when I get home. I used to be on VF, that’s actually how I met Eric here. :3 But the people on there are ridiculously closed minded. (as stated above somewhere, I’m sure)
I have to give VF some credit though (even though I hate it) because I also met Eric on there. If it wasn’t for VF we wouldnt have met and wouldnt have a wonderful daughter.
Same thing with me, that’s what I was trying to say earlier, amidst all the whiners and ass-kissers there are a few genuinely awesome people on there. Take me for example… :3 just kidding lol
I forgot my login like 4 months ago… You guys still use it? Hell I really haven’t been on myspace in the past year except to upload anime pics and update blogs/stories.

like… You can’t do a on here… it bugs me, I add spaces a lot when I write for emphasis and so you can see thought transition.
