MSN 11.03.

All my life (that I’ve had a computer), I’ve set my homepage to GOOGLE, never anything else. I like the sweet simplicity and instant load time of not having to bring up and thing but a few links that never change, one single image, and a search input bar. It is my ideal homepage.

 However, the computers that I frequent out at college all have MSN as the homepage, a site that functions similar to google, as a search engine, but is covered in current events, news, fassions, etc.

 Of course, you can set google to do this, but like I said, google is nice for being simple; that’s about it. I’m finding it’s search querying to be increasingly less and less effective, or to my liking.

But back to the point; I cannot load up MSN without seeing some article of interest. Maybe I will change to a MSN homepage. True, sites like bbc.co.uk go even further, but MSN is typically the all-american homepage it would seem. Maybe this little conformity will keep me more informed?

I really enjoyed this article; it makes a good breather and really got me to thinking about what I do and say online;
