The answer is yes.
Lately Myspace has gone way to far with CAPTCHA codes. Every time I want to send my friends a comment or message I have to do a CAPTCHA code. It’s insanely crazy! It honestly makes me hate myspace and not want to talk to people on there. It wouldn’t bother me so much if I only had to do a CAPTCHA code every once in a while but having to do one every time I want to talk to a friend is nerve racking. I admit I send alot of messages and leave alot of comments to try and help promote the site so having to take five extra minutes to do some stupid code pisses me off. Myspace should chill out with the CAPTCHA codes. I mean for god sake Myspace gives you a choice of having people do the CAPTCHA code in order to talk to them. If people don’t want you to have to do a CAPTCHA code to talk to them then why make someone do one? Undoubtably they aren’t to worried about their account getting “phished”.
That leads me to another thing no matter what Myspace does to prevent accounts from being hacked it’s still going to happen, so why punish the Myspace users and make it harder for them to talk to their friends? Isn’t Myspace suppose to be fun?

Adding friends isnt really the problem its when i go to edit my own profile. Why the hell do i have a security image to edit my own profile. I guess there scared the spam robots are going to try to massive edit everyone profiles…. i makes no sence at all why when you edit your profile there is a security image.
Yeah foreal. Those things are annoying…and I hate it when I get it wrong..and have to do it all over again…hah.
Some computers have it set to case sensitive of something, I encounter that problem at the college… it is so annoying for real, one of the main reasons I haven’t been on myspace at all lately.
Just change to virb.com, no CAPTCHA, no spam just easy going, and alot funner to
what i dont get is if captcha is just there to stop bot spamers then why do i have to fill out a captcha to update my profile?
Hello. Yes captchas are ruining myspace not just for sighted users but also for users that are totally blind like me. Before you ask me how i use the computer please go read my profile because i don’t feel like explaing it. Anyway i wonder what can be done about captchas? I think that myspace needs to have something like facebook where the accounts of the users can be varifyed and they can bypass the captcha codees. And yes it is so pointless to have that many captchas. Anybody had any luck with contacting myspace about this? I have sent multible emails to myspace about it and all i get in return is a computer generated reply. The only way to even make this situation known i think would be to continually spam toms profile with petitions and comments about bypassing captchas. Also the screen reading software that i use to access the computer can not read captcha immages. When i run in to a captcha i am basicly stuck if someone sighted isn’t there to help. This is why i prefer facebook so much more but i don’t have as many friends on it. Anyways if you want to ask me about any of this or have any ideas you can add me on myspace or aim (blindboyblake1), msn ddw4250@yahoo.com. Or you can email me at Blakehardin5487@gmail.com. Do i have anyones permission to use these posts and post them on Tom’s profile? Thank you.
You have everyone permission here to do whatever you feel is necessary to stop captchas. I know its kinda selfish but i never thought about how hard this is for blind people. I guess i always thought that the screen reading software would read it, but now that i think about it i don’t guess there is a way they can. I agree i think a profile verification would be an excellent idea for myspace. If you also need our help for anything please contact us.
I agree with you about how Myspace should do what Facebook does. Its a great idea.
i so agree i dont make people do CAPTCHA to talk to me but they still have to do it
whats up with that?
it gets really annoying after awhile&makes me not want to talk to people because i have to sit there&type the CAPTCHA
Hey Robin, Leave a message on here if you want to get together and figure out a way to do something about this Myspace CAPTCHA problem. Aside from the blind gentleman, nobody, and I mean NOBODY hates CAPTCHAs more than I do.
Lets think of some things to help get rid of CAPTCHAs. I think starting a petition may help.
Hit me up on myspace.
so how do i turn the dam captcha on myspace off?
