Well, all bands, all their songs sound the same. They wouldn’t be a band if they were some miasmic roving entity that never sounds the same, they’d be… a perpetual car wreck. Or maybe interesting (you might think cof sounds like a perpetual car wreck lol).

There truly is beauty to the beast, you just must look for it. Lordi said it best, “Would (in this case “could”) you love a monsterman?” It’s not really rock, no, hell no, lol, it’s not metal either. It’s Cradle of Filth, and that is it’s own genre right there. Black metal doesn’t claim them. Metal doesn’t claim them. Rock doesn’t claim them. That only leaves themself to claim them (and their audience, why I think they are so popular nowadays).

I can’t help it, I heard them in 1998, back when all I knew about popular music was brittney spears, n-sync and shit like that, and, all I could say was, “wow, this is DEFINITELY MY MUSIC”. It was different, just like me. Maybe that’s all that I needed.
