Conflict

Posted by Cooltrainer Josh in Goverment

I am at a loss. I have an extreme trouble in determining and understanding the difference between 1) trying express yourself with the liberties available to you, in act of defending them, in a broad social network that YOU DO NOT OWN, but are just another user in a maelstrom of thousands (exponentially more or less) and 2) conforming to what the common beleifs and drives are in what you are striving to achieve.

I write this post because I feel I might be abusing my powers on a few popular networks such as demopolis live, myspace, and a few popular forums. Only time will tell this idea, but I’ll continue with my moral and ethical debate herein, although I feel it will gain me no standing as none of those this is aimed to will hear it… maybe I can gather my thoughts like this.

Okay. Religion. It is both good and bad in principle to me. It teaches conformity and subversion, but at the same time gets things done with it’s morality and efforts. Good things happen when “godly” people control their masses. However, sometimes using religion to set things right is too slow. I know some radical priests,  and they do good, but you can only do so much when you are restricted by shackles of dogma. However, you look good while doing it, considering if you don’t go overboard.

Now, the world is full of conflicting views. This is good, we need  this as humans to prevent too much power from coming from one source or authority. However, in light of recent events, the American government and politics have taken it upon themselves to systematically remove every liberty granted us by the us constitution, starting from the ground up- with the first thing being freedom of speech. In fact, the kind of words that I’m speaking right now are as I type this being made illegal. Check out the 55 homemade terrorism link in my other blog.

It’s scary. That our government would seek to destroy conflict by reinstating itself as the number 1 indisputable authority. It’s scary that people, upon hearing my words on popular societies like myspace, go off on me for posting them, even after they post pointless junk and garbage, they accuse me of tainting the system. Conformity is the opposite of conflict in my mind. If you  say “It can’t be true” or “lies”, then it’s possibly too late for you. You have been tricked by the system, and are scared that there is a possibility that it’s true. Of course now, I feel deeply hurt that I should engender these kinds of feelings, and in some means maybe I do overstep my boundaries. Maybe the fact that the world is on it’s way to becoming a place where the government controls everything we do, think, or speak by fear is not a good thing to post in public propoganda. After all, watch tv. Do you see it>

I might have a biased opinion, seeing as I’ve been restricted from television and internet all my life. But once I gained access, I was not blinded as the majority of the current generation is. I understand that parents don’t want their children exposed to this conspiracy, but the thought that it is more than bizarre fiction from some horror author should stir people to think. But of course, mankind is lazy as a whole. We don’t do anything until it’s too late. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, so to speak. We don’t do anything until that, by inaction, some great calamity or discomfort will obviously occur if we continue to be lazy. I’m sorry, but it’s the cold hard truth. And I will continue my battle in this conflict until I am silenced.

If only I could post with such focus.
I feel the only thing I can do is agree with you on many points, but I see little I can do other than to assure you that you’re not going overboard.
Linkage to this myspace thread would ba nice. [unless that’s them above my post?]
Considering I find them, I’ll support you and your thoughts.

Haha. I was a sheep in high school somewhat. I went with the flow even though I had so many great revolutionary and innovative ideas. Where I DID present them, they were too radical or extremist for the average intellectually challenged southerner to understand, or else accept lol. I hate to talk bad about my peers… but it was somewhat true.

I really am starting to think maybe i’ve got it all wrong. I don’t get taken seriously accept in a manner of being told to shut up lol
