Technology Changes so Fast!

Posted by tk92590 in Computer

The other day i was reading an article about the new intel pynren processor. I turned the page and saw another article about a new 64 core processor under development. And new ram is on its way, DDR3, it may be in its early stages but it will eventually take the place of DDR2. So i started reading around some more and came up on an article on nvidia. This was a rumor which said that nvidia was making a new graphics card which would have a G92 core. And it will all have a price jump. This is all good for developers, but bad for the end user because we aren’t made of money.

…Geeze, I really need to learn more about these technological advancements. I have only the vaguest of ideas of what you just said.
I’m seein’ “DDR” so I’m thinking “Dance Dance Revolution”?

    [ If it’s not blatantly obvious already, I’m a puder noob. ]

wow ddr3 already. great now in 6 months everything out now will be worthless lol. figures. computers go out of date every 6 months and stuff like this is the reason. with games pushing limits like they are you cant just not upgrade either

yeah if you dont upgrade then you wont have any fun with the newest games. The reason consoles sell so good is it is a cheap way to play cool games, and not have to spend 1000$ on your pc.
