A Solution To America’s Demons

Posted by Eric Hamby in Articles

My last story spoke about abortion issues and homeless and how they are impacting Americas way of life. A lot of people do still have abortion issues and just don’t agree with it at all. How you can call yourself Pro-Life when the choices you are making is degrading the quality of life is beyond me. There is a few ways to get around this abortion thing and still improve life here in the states. To do this yes there would be more laws that the government that would have to be put into play, which don’t bother me because with all the stupid laws that we have a few laws that help out would be welcoming.

The first thing I would like to see is rules on marriage. You shouldn’t be able to get married until after a preset number of things are met. Number one is time; you shouldn’t be able to get married until after you have been dating a while, at least 2 years. And preferably would have lived together in this time frame. Number two is age; you should be able to get married till at least 25 because when your 18 you just can’t make the money at a job and smart decisions till then. Now this would solve about half the divorces in the world not that anyone but America has a divorce issue. Getting married after a few months or getting drunk one night in Vegas and getting married is a disgrace and something should be done. Now not everyone would have to follow these rules because everyone shows their love differently. Some couple just don’t want marriage so these rules don’t apply to them.

The second thing is about children. Let’s face it the American dream of the past of having a family then a few kids went down the pooper around the late 60’s. Ok let’s get started here. You shouldn’t have kids at all unless you have been married for about 3 years. This solves a number of things. Mostly because you are settled enough in life to have children. Children take a lot of time and money. The time you need and the money needed to get married at 25 isn’t enough for kids this is a whole other thing. So by this time you got money to take a little time off and spend time with a growing child. People do not spend enough times with their kids now days. I covered all this in my last article so let’s move on. You shouldn’t be allowed to have kids at all unless you are proven to afford it and there is reason for this. We pay more taxes than we ever should so we can pay for everyone’s kids that can’t afford it. And as I talked about in my last story, Parents that don’t have a lot of money spend what little they do get on their self, so the child is left without.

Birth control should be mandatory until you meet the requirements for having a child. I mean if you have to fill out an application for a job at McDonalds’ you should have to fill out one for having a child because I know there is a lot more things you need to know for a child then a job. Why is it you don’t have to prove yourself to have a child? If I got a job I would have to prove myself and a child is a lot like a job. It takes responsibility above all and a love for what you do. Parents have lost all respect for being parents. What happened to a dad that was proud to be a dad ? Or a mother would just sit there and look at her baby for the longest time because she felt that motherly love and that connection that a mother should have with their child. What it really comes to is respect. Americans don’t have it, we lost it somewhere between Woodstock and Disneyland.

The human nature of destroying everything in it’s path seems to have taken its hardest toll on the American people. A country that fought for its freedom has bound its people and covered their eyes in a dark shroud of fear and taxes. I’m so sick of this democrat or republican, pro-life or pro-choice, Christian or atheist. what happened to people standing up together and fighting for what was good and helpful to all people? We got to come together if we want to change this land, for the better of the people, for the better of this country, for the better of our children’s future.
